The International Training Institute (ITI) works with selected partner institutions to deliver CELTA teacher training programmes in collaboration with universities, language schools, and educational organisations.

Founded in 1987, ITI is one of the most established teacher training centres in the region, with decades of experience delivering CELTA, DELTA, trainer development, and continuing professional development programmes for teachers from across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and beyond.

By hosting a CELTA course in partnership with ITI, your institution can strengthen its academic profile, support the development of local teachers, and position itself as a regional centre for teacher education.

Partnerships normally begin with an initial CELTA course hosted by the partner institution and delivered in collaboration with ITI.

ITI provides:

• academic leadership and course oversight

• experienced CELTA trainers and assessors

• course design and quality assurance

• participant assessment and moderation

• support for future trainer development and CPD opportunities.

• The partner institution provides:

• suitable training facilities

• local course promotion and participant recruitment

• administrative coordination

• teaching practice support where required.

• Following a successful first course, the partnership may expand to include:

• further CELTA courses

• DELTA preparation

• Train-the-Trainer programmes

• CPD workshops and staff development courses.

Many institutions choose to begin with one pilot course in order to:
